Students begin replacing "I'm just not a maths person." with "I can figure this out."

Instead of memorising methods, students learn to reason, question and discover solutions for themselves.

Confusion becomes part of learning and not something to fear.

Confidence earned through understanding lasts far beyond the classroom.

The habits developed in mathematics become tools for university, careers and everyday life.

Gil Sher spent more than 20 years in the technology industry, leading product and enterprise technology initiatives, while never giving up what had always been his true passion—teaching mathematics. Since the age of 20, he has dedicated part of every week to helping young people grow in confidence through learning. Today, he is an M.Ed. candidate and researcher at the University of Haifa, exploring how AI and educational technology can create more meaningful and transformative learning experiences.
Fundamatics brings together everything Gil has learned throughout his journey—as an educator, technologist, and researcher. His mission is simple: to help every young person discover their untapped potential. Mathematics is not the destination; it is the vehicle for building confidence, resilience, and a lifelong belief in what's possible.
I didn't just improve in maths, I gained confidence in myself.
You taught me much more than mathematics. You taught me how to face challenges, believe in myself and keep going even when things felt difficult. You always explained complex ideas in a way that made sense, and helped me believe I was capable of succeeding.
I'm finishing school with far more confidence.
Not only in maths, but in myself. Thank you for everything you've given me.
Twenty years later, I still remember.
Twenty years after being your student, I still remember what it felt like to truly understand. You taught me how to think, stay curious and believe in myself. I still remember your patience, our conversations and your ability to make complex ideas feel simple. Very few teachers stay with you for life — you're really one of them.
Today, students learn directly with Gil. Tomorrow, Fundamatics will bring the same transformative learning experience to many more students through carefully designed courses, exceptional educators, and AI.
